THE VERITEXT DIGITAL REPORTER SCHOLARSHIP
Veritext is offering two types of scholarships:
Scholarships will be awarded quarterly pending candidate eligibility and interest.
A complete application must be received on or before 10:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on the dates provided below. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered. Late applications will not be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Scholarships will be awarded quarterly pending candidate eligibility and interest. Applicants must provide proof of complete equipment purchase that meets spec requirements or AAERT study book within two weeks of the awarded scholarship. Funds must be fully returned if all requirements and/or timelines are unmet. All program incentives related to certification or becoming an in-person reporter will be waived if a scholarship is provided. Scholarship recipients must work with Veritext for at least 6 months after receiving scholarship funds. In-person scholarship recipients must work 4 days per week with 90% of their jobs taken in-person for those 6 months. Certification scholarship recipients must work at least 4 days per week. Requirements are pending calendar availability.
Applicants must be active digital reporters and in good standing with Veritext and desire to purchase equipment or become certified by AAERT.
Applicants must pass a quality check with the DR champions, Talent, and Tech teams.
Applicants must be available an average of 5 days per week 90% of the time.
