WILL I BE ASKED TO SIGN AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT?

Yes. Both digital reporters and transcriptionists will be asked to sign an independent contractor agreement with Veritext. The agreement is intended to clearly define the scope of the independent contractor relationship, outline the responsibilities of both parties, and establish consistent expectations related to professional standards, confidentiality, data security, workflow, and the protection of the record.

You can expect to receive the agreement directly from our Talent team during the week of July 27. We encourage you to review it carefully, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions or raise any concerns before signing. Our team will be available to walk through the agreement with you and provide any clarification you may need.

WILL MY RATES CHANGE, AND WILL I STILL BE PAID FOR MILEAGE?

We value the experience and professionalism you bring to your work, and your current rates will remain in place as you begin working with Veritext. There are no planned changes to your existing rate structure as part of this transition.

Mileage reimbursement is not standard but will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We recognize that some assignments, particularly those in rural or remote areas, may require significant travel. When those circumstances arise, we are happy to discuss the details in advance and work toward an arrangement that is reasonable for both you and Veritext.

WILL I CONTINUE TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE SAME TYPES OF WORK?

Yes. You can expect to continue working with the same clients and handling the same types of assignments you do today. Becoming part of the Veritext network also gives you access to a broader variety of work, based on your qualifications, experience, location, and availability.

Our goal is to preserve the client relationships and work you have already built while creating additional opportunities for you across the Veritext network.

DAYFORCE PAYROLL ACCESS

Veritext uses Dayforce to manage payroll and provide convenient access to your pay information in one centralized location. You are already enrolled, so there is no need to complete a new registration.

In the coming days, we will provide you with your Dayforce ID, along with the information you need to access your account. Detailed login instructions can be found by clicking the button below.

    Independent Contractor Agreements

    Both digital Reporters and transcriptionists will receive an independent contractor agreement from the Veritext Talent team. The agreement will outline the scope of the relationship, professional expectations, and each party’s responsibilities. You will have time to review the agreement and ask questions before signing.

    Partner Portal Training

    You will receive training on the Veritext Partner Portal and the tools you will use to manage your work. We will walk you through the process of reviewing and accepting assignments, accessing job information, submitting completed work, and navigating the resources available to you.

  • Integration Begins!

    Tuesday, August 4

    Beginning August 4, you will start putting your Partner Portal training into practice! This is when assignments and job-related information will begin moving into the Veritext workflow, including accepting assignments, accessing job details, and submitting completed work through the Partner Portal. Our team will remain available to support you as you become familiar with the process.

  • Post-Integration Training

    Digital Reporter Equipment & Training

    Digital reporters will receive new Veritext equipment and participate in a tailored training program delivered in small cohorts. Training dates and additional details will be shared as they are finalized, and reporters will receive hands-on support as they transition to the Veritext equipment and workflow.

    For transcriptionists: The only change to your workflow will be working within the Veritext Partner Portal to manage assignments and submit completed work. There will be no immediate changes to your current equipment or software processes.
